An in-depth study of flow control dynamics, raw material metallurgy, and modern manufacturing paradigms in China.
A shut-off valve is a fundamental element in modern pressurized fluid networks. Designed to halt the flow of water or chemical media entirely, these units ensure that system downstream maintenance can occur without system-wide drainage. Our valve designs leverage multi-turn compression structures, ceramic cartridge mechanisms, and high-performance quarter-turn ball valves to optimize seat durability and operational handwheel torque.
Unlike control valves which regulate pressure drop and volume rate, a shut-off valve is optimized to achieve zero flow conductance under high static pressures. In residential plumbing networks, these are frequently referred to as angle valves, straight stop valves, or supply valves. In commercial and industrial applications, they serve as the first line of security, separating high-pressure water mains from final delivery lines.
The selecting of materials governs the corrosion resistance, longevity, and tensile strength of the valve structure. Our facility processes lead-free brass (C37700, CW617N, DZR) and premium Stainless Steel 304/316. Lead-free brass options ensure complete adherence to standardizations such as USA AB1953 and NSF/ANSI 61, preventing heavy metal contaminants from leaching into public drinking supply streams.
| Material Designation | Tensile Strength (MPa) | Corrosion Resistance | Principal Application Scenario | Compliance Suitability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| C37700 Brass | ≥ 360 | Moderate to High | Residential plumbing, potable water networks | NSF/ANSI 61, low-lead standard |
| DZR Brass (Dezincification Resistant) | ≥ 400 | Superior in Acidic Water | High mineral environments, hot water mains | WRAS, AS4020, European Drinking Water Directive |
| Stainless Steel 304 | ≥ 515 | Exceptional | Commercial washrooms, corrosive liquid transport | FDA, CE, ASTM standards |
| ABS / Engineered Plastics | ≥ 45 | Immune to Rust | Budget-friendly applications, agricultural lines | Light residential non-potable lines |
In regions where municipal water has high chloride levels, typical brass alloys lose zinc elements, resulting in a porous copper structure prone to catastrophic leakage under wall pressure. JUTYE utilizes specialized Dezincification Resistant (DZR) alloys, treated under precise thermal tempering stages, to ensure the brass matrix remains intact for decades.

Your Trusted OEM & ODM Bathroom Manufacturer
How we leverage localized industrial clusters and deep-water transport channels to bring value to global enterprises.
Our facility in Ningbo, Zhejiang, lies less than 50 kilometers from the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, one of the world's busiest container hubs. This enables direct container loading and decreases intermediate inland drayage costs, ensuring that bulk valve orders reach international shipping lanes within hours of production clearance.
By coordinating casting, forging, precision CNC machining, and automated polishing under a unified regional ecosystem, we reduce raw material handling wastes. Advanced manufacturing allows us to secure lower unit prices for global buyers while preserving high-caliber dimensional accuracy across large batches.
We perform 100% air-leak testing at 0.6-0.8 MPa and hydrostatic testing up to 1.6 MPa on all stop valves. Every production batch undergoes destructive testing, including dezincification depth measurement, thread tolerance tracking (G, NPT, or BSPP), and surface finish validation via salt-spray testing chambers.
We work with international brands, distributors, and engineering firms to translate concepts into market-ready sanitary components.
Our plumbing fittings can be laser-engraved or stamped with your brand logo, optimizing commercial brand awareness. We offer custom packaging, master carton branding, and personalized product sleeve options.
We offer diverse electroplating and surface treatments including Matte Black, Brushed Gold, Polished Chrome, Oil Rubbed Bronze, and physical vapor deposition (PVD) finishes to complement any modern bathroom design.
Select from Stainless Steel 304, high-grade forged Brass (DZR/Lead-Free options), high-strength rubber gaskets, and impact-resistant ABS plastics to balance performance, durability, and cost targets.
We develop specific valve geometries, inlet/outlet sizes (e.g., 3/8" Compression, 1/2" NPT, 1/2" FIP, Push-Fit connections), and handle layouts to meet distinct localized standards.

Potable shut-off valves operate across diverse settings, requiring targeted configuration adjustments:
The global sanitary industry is moving toward zero-lead alloys and smart technology integration. Advanced building management systems (BMS) are adopting motorized shut-off systems that automatically isolate water lines during anomalies. Additionally, environmental standards such as LEED encourage the use of valves made from recycled alloys with low manufacturing energy footprints.

Our sanitary ware parts and shut-off valves comply with standardizations for global distribution.

Insights from our engineering and design team regarding installation, compliance, and material selection.
The difference lies in the configuration of the fluid path. An angle stop valve features inlet and outlet ports oriented at a 90-degree angle, redirecting fluid flow. It is used when the pipeline rises from the wall and must connect to a faucet or toilet intake above it. A straight shut-off valve features ports aligned along the same axis (180 degrees) and is utilized when piping extends directly from the floor or within horizontal lines. Both share similar internal flow sealing designs (ceramic, compression, or ball mechanism).
To satisfy stringent global water hygiene standards like NSF/ANSI 61 and California’s AB1953, we utilize lead-free copper-zinc alloys, replacing traditional lead additions with bismuth or silicon. This keeps the lead content under 0.25% across all wetted surfaces of our valves. We conduct regular chemical analysis tests using optical emission spectrometers (OES) to verify alloy purity during smelting and casting.
Ceramic stop valves utilize highly polished alumina-ceramic discs that slide against each other. This quarter-turn action offers long-term resistance to mineral scaling and operates with minimal torque. Compression-type valves, which utilize a rubber washer closing onto a metal seat, are prone to washer deterioration over time, leading to leaks and difficult operation.
We provide full OEM and ODM services. This includes producing valves from custom drawings or physical samples, custom logo engraving, adjusting thread sizing (NPT, BSP, or Compression), selecting custom materials (CW617N brass, DZR brass, or SUS 304), and providing customized packaging configurations for retail.
For standard OEM production orders, our lead time typically ranges from 30 to 45 days after deposit confirmation and technical drawing approval. Our proximity to the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port allows us to easily arrange FOB Ningbo shipments, handle Customs clearances, and organize LCL/FCL shipments to match your distribution schedule.
